The Raffles Europejski Warsaw, located in the city center of Warsaw, is characterised by a fascinating history, architecture and unrivaled prestige. The building was designed by Enrico Marconi an Italian architect from Poland and was inaugurated in 1858, becoming one of the most modern and luxurious hotels in Europe.
The hotel structure was gravely damaged during the second World War and was then part of a big reconstruction project. In June 2018, Raffles Europejski Warsaw opened its doors to welcome a new chapter in an extraordinary history which spans 161 years.
The Hotel has 106 rooms, one signature restaurant, legendary Long Bar, Raffles Spa and heritage patisserie Lourse Warszawa entirely dedicated to its guests. For the lobby floor, next to the elevators of this prestigious hotel, MULTIFORME® created two big luxury Murano glass chandeliers.
The selected model is our Nabucco from the TIMELESS collection dedicated to Murano classics: a rich, harmonious, balanced and astonishing Rezzonico style chandelier which perfectly recalls the luxury of the XVIIIth century Venice.
Following the Murano glass tradition, these luxury chandeliers are characterised by many different glass decorations of various shapes and dimensions: “cornucopie”, “pinnacoli”, pendant elements, and so on. Among these, stand out the delicate flowers in white vitreous paste and 24Kt gold. This Rezzonico style chandelier by MULTIFORME® lighting is characterised by a three-tier structure, with 32 lights.
The glass is in clear-gold with white details, a classic colour from the Venetian tradition that make these prestigious chandeliers even more precious and sought-after. Also the dimensions of this Rezzonico chandelier are noteworthy: the total height of this lighting product is of about 2 meters and the diameter is of 160 cm.
Such big dimensions make this specific version of Nabucco the ideal solution to light up envinroments with high ceilings, just like the hall where the two luxury chandeliers by MULTIFORME® were placed.
The lighting project was carried out thanks to the precious design and consultation activities offered by Argenta Projects, an architecture and interior design studio from London specialised in projects in the hotel sector, with offices in Milan and Paris.
Once again the art of Murano glass crosses the borders, landing in one of the most historic and fascinating European capital cities and offering the guests of Raffles Europejski Hotel in Warsaw, the opportunity to appreciate its indisputable charm and value.
